Ouch my hip – the aftermath…

Well, unfortunately for me my right hip was EXCRUTIATINGLY painful the day after the half marathon.  It was incredibly painful to weight bear on it at all so getting up from sitting down, walking up stairs etc were a nightmare.  I know now that if I give it a few days rest it should settle down but at the same time clearly there is something wrong if it is as painful as that!

My hip felt a lot less painful the next day.  Unfortunately, I have been unable to get an appointment with my physio this week due to my work commitments so will be predominantly resting this week and then hopefully running the Bramley 20 on Sunday…
